The Blais Genealogy, a large-scale projet

Over time, several genealogists have worked individually, to reconstruct the descendants of Pierre Blais, individually, namely: Jacques Blais (M-82), Gilles Blais (M-99), Serge Blais (M-308) and the late Yves Blais (M -80).

In April 2005, under the presidency of Lucille Blais (M-215), a project was started to merge their knowledge. The Association began compiling their
accumulated information. Jacques Blais (M-82) agreed to be the project manager. A first version of the dictionary was printed in 2008, followed in 2011 by “Les Blais d’Amérique –Index des conjoints” which was the alphabetical index of the spouses. Data collection continued and, to date, we have collected information from 160,175 probands (people) and 69,147 families.

To date, the main collaborators are: Jacques Blais (M-82), Guy Morin (M-779), Marie-Claude St-Pierre (M-861), Louise Tucker (M-243), Monique Blais (M-806) and Lise St-Pierre (M-908) who are continually adding new people and families.
