BLAIS GATHERING 2020

SAINT-ÉTIENNE-DES-GRÈS (20^TH)

The current pandemic stopped most of our normal activities. For the Association des Blais d’Amérique, our main activity is also subject to the “new normal”. Considering that the Québec Government has requested cancelling all gatherings and public events until August 31 and that our annual gathering was scheduled for only one week later, your Board of Directors has decided to cancel the gathering 2020 announced in the last Journal des Blais.

This decision also takes into account the following facts: there are still many uncertainties; many participants register for the gathering and reserve their hotel room way ahead of time; many of the participants are in the “at risk” age group as defined by Public Health authorities.

We will keep you informed; but for now rest assured that we will do all we can to ensure the success of the 2021 gathering.

I encourage you to take advantage of spring, bearer of hope, and summer to be ready for whatever lies ahead.
